Board and Train

pug being a bad dogHave a professional train your dog

Could your dog use a course in manners? Don’t have time to train him yourself?

Our board & train program Doggie Boot Camp is the answer. Between work, family, home, and hobbies, few people have the time to train their dogs. Yet all dogs need training to learn how we humans would like them to behave.

Why not have a highly qualified professional train your dog? We have the experience and the skills, and use only positive methods grounded in canine behavioral science. Even better, we train your dog throughout the day, not in separate training sessions. That means the training will work where you need it most: in everyday life.

We do the work—all you have to do is enjoy the results.

Doggie Boot Camp FAQs

Who is it for?

Any dog or puppy. Puppies must be 5 months old and should have received all their shots before entering the program. Adult dogs must be current on all vaccinations.

When can my dog visit?

Doggie Boot Camp is available for any dog over 5 months of age and runs all year round, but give us a call before you pack a bag for your dog. Space is limited and available by appointment only.

Where will my dog stay?

We have 4 x 8 indoor sleeping areas as well as crates that we can use to make your dog as comfortable as they are when they are home with you.  You are welcome to send his bed along with him, so he has something familiar to sleep on.

What about exercise?

That’s built into our routine. Our doggie guests enjoy designated playtime every day as well as romps in a 2-acre fenced yard.

Will my dog have fun?

Absolutely. We believe learning should be fun and approach dog training as an exciting game for your dog to play.

How many dogs do you train at a time?

We only enroll 3 dogs per trainer in Doggie Boot Camp at a time. We’re not a boarding facility, but a training facility, so our priority is to give each dog the individual attention needed for successful training results.
